Visiting artist Wendy Tate 2nd September 2026

Wendy gave an inspirational talk about her painting processes. She uses several photos to make a new composition which she then draws and paints. Sometimes she will make an artistic print of the composition often using Tetra Pac cartons or small boxes as her printing plate. She demonstrated how the print is made using a small desktop press. Demonstration examples and a fully completed piece of her work are shown in the gallery below.
